The Nomothete LLC
A unique form of Life Coaching
Step into the space where chaos becomes clarity, creativity becomes healing, and every end becomes a beginning.
This is the home of The Nomothete—a life’s work shaped by science, psychology, spirituality, philosophy, and lived experience.
Here, I explore the full spectrum of the human condition through art, storytelling, mental health insights, expressive arts therapy, and the wisdom hidden in the worlds of geek culture. My life has been marked by schizoaffective disorder, severe depression, trauma, and the long journey toward stability—and because of that, everything you find here is built on truth, accountability, and lived resilience. I share these experiences not to inspire pity, but to demonstrate what is possible when effort, consistency, creativity, and self-understanding align.
This space is a tapestry of everything that rebuilt me:
art and music, philosophy and psychology, spirituality, storytelling, academic study, and the small lessons that shape a life. These are the same tools I now use to help others heal, grow, and become their inevitable selves.
Alongside my creative work, I offer specialized coaching rooted in:
This is a community for thinkers, creators, survivors, and seekers—people who crave knowledge, stability, growth, and a deeper understanding of their inner worlds. Together, we question our realities, challenge our narratives, and discover the wisdom hiding in unexpected places… even the nerdy, the strange, and the beautifully unconventional.
Thank you for today.
Thank you for yesterday.
Thank you for tomorrow.
Question your reality.
Honor your becoming.
And remember: at every end, there is a beginning

My Journey
A New Beginning: From Survival to Self-Mastery
When I began my business, I had little more than a vision—I wanted to help people heal, grow, and discover their best selves. Yet in those first weeks, I felt lost. I had no roadmap, no proven frameworks to lean on. What I did have was my own lived experience: the ways I had wrestled with trauma, navigated schizoaffective disorder, and found purpose through creativity and spirituality.
I started writing down every method that had helped me—journaling, art, mindfulness, structure, storytelling—and noticed patterns emerging. These practices aligned with established disciplines like expressive arts therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, emotion-focused individual therapy, project management, and peer support. That realization gave me direction. I committed myself to study, to gain certifications across these fields, not just as credentials but as tools to refine what I had already tested on myself.
Transformation Through Effort
In truth, I was my first client. I became the experiment and the proof. By applying my frameworks to my own life, I discovered that with enough effort, focus, and consistency, I could rebuild myself. Over time, I not only overcame substance use and years of instability, but I also became a polymath of healing—learning to integrate psychology, spirituality, philosophy, and project management into a unified approach to coaching.
This process gave me more than skills; it gave me conviction. I now know firsthand that transformation is not only possible, it is inevitable if one commits fully to the work.
Purpose and Practice
Today, through The Nomothete, I offer coaching and content designed to empower others in the same way I empowered myself. My approach is eclectic because life itself is eclectic—art, philosophy, mental health, spirituality, and even geek culture all have wisdom to offer. I believe lessons come from unexpected places, and when combined, they create a powerful path toward healing and self-realization.
I invite others to join me on this journey—not as followers, but as fellow creators of meaning. Together, we can demonstrate that every end is truly a beginning, and that questioning our reality is the first step toward becoming our inevitable selves.
Thank you for today.
Thank you for yesterday.
Thank you for tomorrow.
Always remember to question your reality.
At every end, there is a beginning.

-Barbara F "The Nomothete LLC has helped me reset my negative way of thinking back to a more positive mindset. I have struggled with depression and anxiety for my entire life, as far back as I can remember. The Nomothete really listened to my issues at hand, and offered hopeful resolutions to set me back on my path. Insightful, deep and seemingly otherworldly in understanding the human condition.
